Stucco Lath is the metal lath used to be wiped into the wall, also known as plaster mesh. The function of the stucco lath is to make the stucco sticks stronger on the wall, and make the wall more durable, thereby extend the strength and service life of the whole building. So the Stucco lath is widely used on self built house, office building, shopping mall as well as Residential building.
Generally the Stucco lath are mainly paperback lath, high rib lath, light weight steel expanded metal, and welded wire mesh. Today we will introduce the first three types of metal lath, which our factory produces and sells for more than 20 years. They are all belong to Stretched metal mesh, that is the material if steel plate, and the mesh is formed by the perforating and stretching of the expanded metal machine.
The first type is the paperback lath. Metal lath is produce by galvanized steel strip. It requires high malleability of the material to ensure that the lath will have good tensile strength. the shape of the mesh always be diamond, and thickness will not thicker than 0.8mm. The second type is the high rib lath. As its name high rib lath has a strengthen rib on the middle of the mesh, so the strength of the the separate mesh is much higher than the metal lath. And usually the zinc coating of the material will be higher than normal material, we always call it G60 high rib lath. The popular sizes of it as following:

The last one is the expanded metal mesh, production process of the expanded metal mesh is more complex than the metal lath and rib lath, we need to stretch the material first, than leveling it, and rolling it. And we have hundreds of different sizes of mould to meet different requirements. Expanded metal Sizes suitable for stucco lath are the light expanded metal. Thickness always less than 1.5mm, and mesh sizes can be 10*20mm, 12.7*25mm and so on. Panel sizes can be 4*8鈥? or in rolls. You can choose the sizes that suits you best by considering the strength and cost as well.
