Aluminum Expanded Metal has been more and more popular as Modern Building decorative facade, Because it has cheap price, different types of pattern, high open area to meet the fire regulation, beautiful appearance and multiple color choices.
We recently got a enquiry from Canada, customer give us aluminum expanded metal eye size, thickness and fire regulation of there building. Generally if with no fire Regulation, there will be no requirement of the Inside hole opening, we only need to know the LWD, SWD to quote price and arrange sample producing. But fire regulation is very important for this project, so customer told us the open area of the aluminum expanded metal, we help customer calculated the inside hole first, then produce small piece sample for the hole confirmation. Our worker tested 8 pieces sample, by changing the mold, making new mold and buying different series of raw material, and finally work out the one that let customers satisfied. We will always take photos of the 40x40cm sample, after confirmation, we will express it to customer. Otherwise it is a waste for both time and money.
Smoothly the sample approved, we got the mock up order shortly, producing big size mock up sample is different with small samples, we need to consider customers’ final mock up effect on the wall. First of all, the appearance of the mesh must be beautiful, the powder coating finish must be smooth, without any powder particle, no metal uncovered. Hole of at four side should be connected so that the panels will looks like one whole piece after installation. To ensure these, we need to produce bigger size panel and cut the holes to ensure the connected hole, and wash each piece of the panel to ensure clean and smooth powder coating finish.
Customer now has got the mock up sample and have them on wall, and give us high evaluation for it. After all drawing work finished, we will begin production for the whole project, it will be another excellent project we do in North America, Huijin is your first choice for building facade works.
